Hundreds of cabins on Riviera deck alone... and I "understand" (roll call) at least some TA's had their unsold inventory pulled...

What's up with this sailing???

sure enough , a TA that had the 3 day when showing as 'sold out' no longer has that sailing offered...

If there are a lot of full suites, mini suites and balconies available there is a good possibility of upsells going out to those already booked

They won't upsell a cruise that doesn't take place until December 2019 yet.

Suites have been sold out for months. I've been haunting the website looking for an upgrade. An S3 opened for a short time yesterday and an S2 was open this morning. I couldn't justify updating from an S3 to an S2 at an additional $450 a day! Three days in the S2 is $2,099 pp. A tad steep for 3 days!

We are paying $734 pp per day for the sky suite, S0, on the 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise. There’s only 2 of us in that suite. $700 for an S2 is steep.

Makes me nervous but I think it supports my theory about the christening. The Regal had a 3-day press preview in FLL followed by the christening on November 5, 2014. She sailed on a 3-day 'Caribbean Maiden Voyage', departing the following day. The sail-away was a big deal, complete with fire-boat escort. The Sky has a 3-day press preview scheduled prior to the 'Inaugural Getaway'. I'm hoping for the same level of hoopla!
