snoope Posted November 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2018 Saw this in my cruise planner. The fine print is so vague. Has anyone tried this yet?
FireEMT978 Posted November 26, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2018 I bought it. But, I'm waiting for some answers about the specifics. I figure, that I can cancel, if I don't get the answers I want.

I figure, that I can cancel, if I don't get the answers I want. I called the casino to get a few details and was told the following: buy a $2000 voucher, receive $200 in bonus play, as well as a $20 scratch ticket. The guest that made the purchase online has to be the guest that goes to the casino cage to receive the voucher. I did ask if the voucher could be divided into smaller values but was told I would have to ask at the cage. If the whole value of the voucher is not spent you would get any remaining back excluding any remaining bonus play money on the last night of the cruise. The casino who purchased this item because it is linked to your seapass card, the same as other items are linked to it.

Club Royale Agent | Consumer Outreach Royal Caribbean International | Azamara Club Cruises (P) 888.561.2234 | (F) 305.358.9295 ------------------------------------------------Original Message-------------------------------------------------------- There is a new offer in my cruise planner called $200 slot credits and $20 scratch card. In the terms and conditions it calls the $2000 cost and the promo free play promotional. i am pasting the part that concerns me below. Promo Slot Credit Bonus Offer (“Offer”) applies to purchases made via Cruise Planner no less than three days prior to cruise departure. Offer provides bonus slot credits in addition to the value of slot play purchased, and a scratch off card. Amount of bonus credits and value of scratch off card varies by value of credits purchased: $25 in bonus slot credit for pre-cruise purchase of slot play credits valued at $500, for a total of $525 in promotional slot credit; $75 slot credit bonus for $1,000 for a total of $1,075 in promotional slot credit; and 10% bonus slot credit when you purchase $2,000 of play, for a total of $2,200 in promotional slot credit. Price shown at time of purchase reflects discount and is in USD. i want to know if you earn points on the $2000?? Usually you do not earn points on promo play. I called and spoke to a club royale representative and was told that you do earn points on the $2000 but he could not give me this in writing. The terms and conditions are not clear and I would like clarification. Thank you,

She didn't speak very good English. And, upon me asking her about this promotion, she said that she couldn't see the promotion. I gave up, and cancelled the purchase for now. Now, since you have gotten a response, I may reconsider. But, I WILL get another written verification, BEFORE I re-purchase this item.
Garmy4 Posted February 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 8, 2019 I am interested in this offer but don’t see it in my cruise planner. I am still 64 days out and Prime. Is this only offer on select ships?
sandebeach Posted February 8, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2019 It is not showing on any of my upcoming cruises. Looks like they have pulled this offer, I wonder why?
FireEMT978 Posted February 8, 2019 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2019 I'm hoping it shows back up. I'd really like to do it again on my October Enchantment cruise. Also, Celebrity has pulled their $2000 one. Now, they only have a $50+$5, that you can only buy up to $500. I would really like to do this. It sure would help to keep me in the casino more. We are going to be on the Celebrity Edge in March. Please, oh please bring this back to both Royal and Celebrity, if any of the reps are reading this. Wally Alligator Posted February 10, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Purchased the $2,000 chip package for January 2019 sailing on Symphony. Booked Symphony again for November 2019 and the packages are not in cruise planner. Hoping they show up.
Casino Comp Chick Posted February 11, 2019 #10 Share Posted February 11, 2019 I am about 40 days out on the Anthem and since they pulled it a few months ago it has not come back
sellwingri Posted February 19, 2019 #11 Share Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) It was available on Adventure on our January cruise but not available on Jewel next week. My understanding is that they pulled it from all cruises. In my opinion, it’s great that they pulled it. I sat next to someone at an Ultimate Texas Holdem table last month who had a huge rack of these chips that took up more space than just that in front of the individual. stupid hurts Posted February 20, 2019 #12 Share Posted February 20, 2019 In January I sailed the Oasis and bought a $500 pkg that was applied to my wife sail and sign card and a $500 on my sail and sign ($1000). While we really like Royal Caribbean and Club Royale....this is a miserable system that needed to be pulled. For everyones information we found out that the money was all promotional including the free portion which means you have spend it and we found that if you applied a dollar amount from this prepaid system onto a slot machine that you could not get it back.....cash out. So for instance I put my card into the slot machine and take a promo credit from my account of $100 ...I can not get the $100 back unless I were to win and I could keep the winnings. So we found that we were stuck on that machine until the $100 was spent. After that we were forced into extracting smaller amounts so that we could move to different machines. We also found that some machines would not play the promo money at all.
