4 months out - lack of dining availability?

First timer, booked on Ovation in April.

 

I only booked 2 days ago but I'm getting a bit concerned at the lack of availability in speciality restaurants.

 

- Only 3 day dining packages left, at $97USD each, which seems to have gone up since yesterday, this doesn't seem great value as for a-la-carte its offering $35 credit.

- Many of the restaurants have very few bookings open on the nights I've looked.

Am I too late? Be disappointment if I am.

At least we got the bev package included in the deal, so we can drown our sorrows!

Hard to say if you are too late, but 4 months out is not that far in advance in the cruise world.

In my experience (granted limited) they typically have lots of availability on-board. Unless you want the tappanyaki* (hibachi) tables.

4 months is nearly “last minute” for a lot of cruisers who book and plan 12 months or more in advance.

Plenty of other dining options. You won't go hungry.

I would recommend to keep checking back, people cancel/change dining reservations all the time.  Once you get on board you could ask if there is availability too or ask to be put on a waitlist.

Keep checking.  A couple of weeks ago all the dining packages for my February cruise were gone except ultimate, 3 day  and BOGO. Checked today and  4 and 5 night packages are now available again.

Mine showed up on the list today as well, but when you actually went to buy them they said "not available".
