Changing name in Captain's Club

Note, I have not checked the Celebrity site yet, so this is probably answered there.

After 9 years of marriage, we finally have updated my wife's passport from her maiden name. Due to this, when we booked our last (and first) Celebrity cruise, it was booked in her maiden name. We are getting ready to book another Celebrity Cruise, but want to change her name to her married name. Is this going to be hard to do?

This should be fairly simple to do.

I would recommend calling Captain's Club at 1-800-760-0654, and explain the situation.

It will be easier if you have your wife's Captain's Club number.

The folks at Captain's Club are great to work with.

Good Luck and happy cruising.

My wife's passport changed her married surname to her maiden name.
and I need to make the change in your captain's club account and in all bookings.

I don't know if this procedure was validated, could someone confirm it for me?

I login into the celebrity account
enter to my Profile
enter to Contact Information
I click on last name/surname
I click on the X and the last names are deleted
Enter the new surnames
And I click on Save.

Will the changes be made?

My understanding is that to modify the official record you may have to call in.   Years back there was a problem that a Jr was attached to my name even though I had never been a Jr.   It was causing all kinds of problems as it didn't match my reservations.    Every time I would modify it - it would come back.    They fixed it quickly with one phone call.

Regarding your reservations.   They have to each be individually changed either by your agent or Celebrity.   After they are booked any changes to your account have no affect on current reservations.
