Embarkation massage

I see Carnival allows booking massages during embarkation time.  Do they give you a pass so that you cam get to the spa in time?

Really? What ship is this?? I cannot imagine having time for a massage right after you get onto the ship. I have never seen anyone get a special pass because they have a massage booked.

I have a feeling it is a computer error that you can book those times.

I always took that to mean you could make an appointment for a massage later in the cruise during embarkation time. The spa staff look like one-armed paper hangers on embark afternoons giving tours and presentations to be making with the lotions and rub a dub.

Maybe I am misreading the OP’s post, but he said they allow booking massages during embarkation, which is true.  What they don’t do is give massages during embarkation.  During embarkation they give tours of the spa area and try to get passengers to book massages and other treatments during the cruise.

Went back and double checked...can 100% book a 50 min swedish for 12noon or 1pm on embarkation day.

Perhaps this is a way to buy yourself early boarding? I would be worried I'd be called to muster half-way though and have to attend wearing only avocado spread and cucumber slices!

Never seen the spa open on any cruiseline on embarkation day. Report back.

I booked a massage for my upcoming trip, you can def schedule a massage for embarkation day. It was a lower price just like in port prices.  I was surprised to see that option.

I have my ideas

regarding where the cucumber slices would go
but it's that Avocado Spread that worries me........

 

Hopefully, they'd let her grab a towel on the way out?

Get a massage at port, Carnivals 50 minute massage is about $120 with tip, one hour at Massage Envy is $60

I can only imagine how noisy it could be with the people outside the door taking tours      I just don’t understand why carnival will give you a pass to get on earlier
