Clampram Posted January 6, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2019 We are on a 7 night cruise that departs on a Saturday. Sunday is a sea day and so is Friday. All of the others are days in port. Which nights are the formal nights?? I'm guessing Monday and Thursday???

paul929207 Posted January 6, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2019 I would think Sunday would be one. The other will probably be a day you leave port early. Often this is the day din St. Thomas.

Don't want to dress up so booking one of the specialty restaurants for the formal nite Depends on what you consider as "dressing up" ... we would tend to "dress up" more for the 'specialty dining' experience than for the ...'cough' ... 'formal' dining experience in the mdr actually, I would wear the exact same thing to both...
floridalover5623 Posted January 6, 2019 #10 Share Posted January 6, 2019 You'll be missing either beef medallions or lobster if you skip formal night.
