pepster1 Posted January 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2019 Anyone know if they have a partnership for 2019 yet?
waterbug123 Posted January 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2019 I just logged in to MLife and it correctly showed my platinum status which is based on my C&A status, so I would assume so. I was just in Vegas in Dec and when I booked my hotel a couple months prior I learned that they reset status (at least the for people for whom it's based on RC/X status) every year on Sept 30. You have to call them each year after 9/30 with your C&A or CC # to renew.
GlennaRoseGoes Posted February 6, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2019 Yes.....just returned from Super Bowl weekend at the Bellagio.....I confirmed with MLife desk the partnership is still active. I also received an MLife email today touting this benefit/partnership.

Rare Jim_Iain Posted February 6, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2019 I have a question for all of you. How do you go about linking your MLife and Captain's Club accounts? If one is Zenith what level would they give you in MLife?

I don't know for sure what Zenith will get you, but as Royal D+/Celebrity Elite, we are MLife platinum members. There is only one level higher in MLife and I don't think you can get it through reciprocity; I think you have to actually earn it through casino play but I could be wrong. You can only be matched up to Platinum.

We've actually been pretty happy with the MLife platinum benefits....by logging in before booking an MGM brand hotel, we've gotten some pretty good deals on room rates. There's also usually a dedicated check-in line, which is great when the noon-ish flights from the east coast arrive en masse and the check in lines go on and on forever, and we can usually get into a room several hours before the official guaranteed time so you get priority there as well. Often the larger restaurants will have a priority line as well, and there are a few other bennies. The room rates and the priority check-in/room availability alone have been well worth it for us.

We're not casino gamblers, either. But, as vickykay mentioned, MLife has reciprocal status in World of Hyatt. This has been a great benefit for us. Being Elite+ in the Captain's Club makes you Platinum with MLife. And being Platinum in MLife bumps you to Explorist level in World of Hyatt. Explorist has given us some nice room upgrades, but more importantly, 4 annual upgrades (we each have a Hyatt account, so 8 upgrades total) to the Regency Club. Each upgrade is valid for the length of your stay as opposed to a single night upgrade. Regency Club upgrades are quite valuable IMO.

I don’t gamble either, but I still love my MLife benefits.....the dedicated check in lines and room upgrades in Vegas, free parking (self or valet, depending on level), priority buffet lines.....we live in SoCal and go to Vegas several times a year. Also a discount at many of the sundries stores and attractions within the MGM properties.

Lots of people go to Vegas and don't gamble. They enjoy the restaurants, the shows and other entertainment, and local sites like Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon. The room discounts, room upgrades, priority lines etc. are just as much benefit to non-gamblers as they are to gamblers.
