On B2B do you have to join the long line to get back on?

We will be on the Sky Princess in Oct. The cruise is sold as 7 days or a 14 day.  We are on the 14 days.

 

In Barcelona, it will be a Port day for us and new passengers will be getting on.

 

We will have not problem getting off.

 

When we return to the ship, we will have to get in the line for the new passengers?

When you get off the ship on your turn-around day, most times you will need to get in the same line as those embarking.  After going through security you can go directly to your cabin.  Be sure you have your In Transit card with you.

 

I say most times because one time we were directed to a separate entry door bypassing those embarking.

Not a problem. In Barcelonoa treat it just like any other port day. You will have an intransit card, bring that with you along with your cruise card/medallion and other required docs. With the intransit card you should get right on board. You will have to go through security and there may be a line there. Since this will be a port day, you will most likely return to the ship after most new passengers board, thus less crowds.

In Barcelona the lines at security are oft times long.

Everyone waits in the same security line, which off times

extends outside the terminal.  Once through security and

upstairs you go to the far end of the terminal to board, while

new pax check in at the counters.

In most ports, including Barcelona, you just keep flashing your in transit card and asking which way to the ship. No need to get in any line.

Well you do need to get in line to go through the scanner but that is usually a very short line
