Petoonya Posted January 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2019 (edited) November through April is the rainy season (especially hot and humid) with the height of the season being January/February. That said I just returned from a November/December cruise last month and we had fabulous weather. There were only 2 out of 19 days that we had to change plans because of rain. If I were in your shoes I'd choose either November or April, the beginning or end of rainy season for the best chances. But be sure to know that it can and does rain heavily in Tahiti year round, generally at night but showers during the day can be short or prolonged. Chances of that are lessened May-October. We've been in April, May, Sept, Nov and now December and we've had gorgeous weather every time! Going back again next April. DrivesLikeMario Posted January 23, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted January 23, 2019 Great advice and thanks so much for the first-hand experience. I'll definitely aim for April then, thanks!

dandee2 Posted March 27, 2019 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2019 I agree with Tahitianbigkahuna. But sometime it is cheaper during the "winter season", Your budget and time availability should also be your guide. But whatever your decision - GO !! laurieb Posted May 11, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2019 we've been three times in January, with our 4th in January in 2020; it is hot, and we've had intense showers but we've never been "rained out".
