Hmm... Looks like you guys docked opposite to where we did when we were there in November. But you were way back where there are usually container ships docked. Was there another ship in front of the Dawn that day?

Aqua dining room for dinner.

I had french onion soup, lobster ravioli, beef brisket and some raspberry dessert.

They asked us to be quiet. I'm with 2 people hard of hearing. Aqua is very noisy. Deal with it... I'm platinum!

Side note... I've had a few double titos and cranberry.

Watched the superbowl in the atrium.

They had themed drinks for purchase, buckets of beer specials for those without a drink package and hot dogs + hamburgers and nachos you could make from a table side buffet in atrium. Also face painting.

Squares were being sold all week for $20. They had 4 boards, but the last board wasn't completely full. Extra seating was provided as well in the atrium.

They only showed the game in the atrium and bliss lounge, also on channel 13 in your room.

Mom's best friend fractured her wrist yesterday in St.Lucia while getting off the ship.

The gangway to get off the ship was steep and slick. Her flip flop slipped and down she went.

She went to the medical center on the ship where they did an xray, breathalyzer test. But NCL paid for everything.

Stingray excursion.

They took us out on a boat to the middle of the ocean. That led to a sandbar where they had tons of huge stingrays.

We got in the water, about waist high. The water was cool. The stingrays were swimming free around us. Brushing up against our legs.

We were able to hold them and take photos holding them. Also, we could feed them and they would take the squid right from your hand. Be sure to tuck your fingers or they will try to suck them up as well.

Dinner at la cucina tonight.

Pasta e fagioli soup

Potato gnocchi

Beef tenderloin.

The food was great. A couple in my party are hard of hearing. The couple next to us couldn't handle that and wouldn't move but did complain.

We got up and moved. I'm sorry but it you dont like the noise level, you should move and not make us upset and have to move.

The food is fabulous!

St.maarten land and sea tour.

The weather was perfect. We took a bus trip first, then loaded onto a boat to see the harbor. Still many wrecks in the water from the hurricane. Lots of visible damage.

Wildlife still visible on island. Very warm here. Low temp is 70+. Jealous!

I've never seen so many huge yachts. The Victoria secret yacht was docked.20190205_101156.thumb.jpg.d2da7a5a6ed92d520ae0628a22a5fee4.jpg

More of st.maarten. Today was beautiful,  about 85+ degrees. Perfect day to sit at the bar and post today's review from bimini bar on the dawn.

Follow up from last nights dinner at la cucina. We get free wine to the room, plus reservations. Norwegian for the win!!!

Being platinum has a bit of pull. Love NCL. My first choice always. Plus I have 6 more cruises booked through 2021.

Oh that's a painkiller.
