Rare pierces Posted January 28, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2019 Pictures taken between Monday, January 28 and Sunday, February 3. Rules: See above That's it. This isn't a contest. All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising). Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize. The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays. Post one. Post many. Up to you. Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others! Oakman58 Posted February 2, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2019 Broke my ankle two weeks ago so I won't be getting out taking photos for quite awhile. It will be another four weeks before I can use my right foot. I'm already tired of sitting on the couch watching TV and snacking. I sure did mess up my ankle. Here's the X-Ray taken yesterday right before the staples were removed. All the other hardware is permanent.
Rare ski ww Posted February 3, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2019 Looks like you did a really good job on your ankle, get well soon. At least you'll be up & about for the summer.
shootr Posted February 3, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2019 Today's menu: Pork belly burnt ends. (Halfway there, but the meat, brown sugar, honey, and butter just looked wonderful!)

Hopefully it will heal quickly and you will be done with physical therapy before summer gets here.

Rare pierces Posted February 4, 2019 Author #11 Share Posted February 4, 2019 Super Bowl Sunday. A little different this year than in the past. It used to be a big party tied in with Birthdays and fierce loyalty to various teams. Over the last decade or so, my interest in football has waned to the point that I haven't watched more than a few minutes of any game in years. This year, we ended up with just the two of us planted in front of the TV with an assortment of game day snacks for “dinner” and we watched the whole game. (Except for the part I slept through.) We had some Buffalo nuggets and a seven layer dip to go with the Jalapeno Frito Scoops but the MVPs were the Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots. It was as if manna fell from heaven. zackiedawg Posted February 11, 2019 #12 Share Posted February 11, 2019 No food shots for me - also, no super bowl parties...I instead went on vacation to Disney for the Super Bowl weekend (though Tom Brady and Julian Edelman invaded my vacation by showing up at Magic Kingdom on Monday for the parade). Here are some various handheld shots from Friday through Sunday around the World: The Edison - bar, restaurant, club, and cabaret at blue hour: House of Blues restaurant, appropriately at the end of blue hour, where we had dinner: Cinderella's Castle at dusk: Magic Kingdom's Main Street Station at blue hour: Heavy fog morning at Disney Springs: Interior of the beautiful Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby:
