In Brazil White sugar is used! I have had them both ways in Brazil. And they should be made with a very fine sugar, not the typical table sugar. I just like the taste with the raw sugar better. They also make them with other fruits, watermelon, mango, etc. I am a purist, I prefer lime for my caipirinha, lime for my margaritas, no fruit or odd things in my martinis, etc. 😄 Edited February 1, 2019 by SRF
AACJ Posted February 9, 2019 #28 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Finally found this thread! First someone at work always drinks Tuaca. It's a naturally flavored brandy. Since I never want to spend the money to try something I may not like, I may try it on our cruise with the package. Second, we were on a Holland cruise and this guy kept ordering a champagne with bourbon, I looked it up and it's called Seelbach. Thought I would try this too, but doesn't sound too appealing. I am, however, looking forward to morning Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's...every morning!

smokeykat Posted February 10, 2019 #31 Share Posted February 10, 2019 Pina Colada with dark rum is a must pool side. In the Schooner Bar try the Spiced Daiquiri.
