I have had them both ways in Brazil.

 

And they should be made with a very fine sugar, not the typical table sugar.

 

I just like the taste with the raw sugar better.

 

They also make them with other fruits, watermelon, mango, etc.

 

I am a purist, I prefer lime for my caipirinha, lime for my margaritas, no fruit or odd things in my martinis, etc. 😄

Finally found this thread! 

 

First someone at work always drinks Tuaca.  It's a naturally flavored brandy.  Since I never want to spend the money to try something I may not like, I may try it on our cruise with the package.  

 

Second, we were on a Holland cruise and this guy kept ordering a champagne with bourbon, I looked it up and it's called Seelbach.  Thought I would try this too, but doesn't sound too appealing.

 

I am, however, looking forward to morning Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's...every morning!
