First cruise

Hi all,

 

Just booked our first cruise (Adventure of the Seas).

 

Questions....

 

1. How early does the ship board (how early can you get on?)

2. Upon return, how long before you must vacate? Our ship returns at 5:30 in the morning so I am curious to know if we can stay for a certain amount of time.

 

I am sure there is lots of great advice on here and will start my search but any other general information is welcome.

Boarding starts around 11:30, they will run you out of your cabin by 9 am at the latest. Join your roll call to see whats happening.  Check out your ship on youtube, Happy cruising.

We sail Adventure on the 24th, and have watched probably 20 YouTube videos to learn as much as we can.

We were just on Adventure in January 2019. For boarding, we arrived around 11 a.m. and were on board by 11:30 a.m. It went very smoothly, and the Windjammer was already open for lunch. On debarkation day, we were supposed to be out of our cabins by 8 a.m. They want you to wait in the various assigned locations. There are limited breakfast hours on debarkation day as well. As we were leaving the Windjammer that morning, we saw numerous people showing up only to find that the buffet was already closed (I can't recall the exact time, possibly 9 a.m.). It will all be specified on a debarkation info sheet.
