jomoin Posted February 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2019 Does anyone know how strict Baltimore port is to the scheduled check-in times? We are assigned a 2:00 check-in, but will have to check out of our hotel by 11:00. Not sure how to kill that much time, since we are relying on the hotel's shuttle to get us to the port. Rare mskaufman Posted February 15, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2019 Last time we went the line was short and they let us through early. We have friends who went and said the line was long and they checked times (Pride)

We always arrive at about 11 AM . We never look at the assigned check in time.

shipgeeks Posted February 15, 2019 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2019 I believe Pride has a later departure time than Grandeur (and a later arrival time for the previous cruise). The only problem I see in arriving early is if they are still disembarking previous passengers. Then there could be a delay in parking and in being checked in. SRF Posted February 15, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 15, 2019 If the prior passengers are still coming off the ship, they will not allow you into the lot. So you get to sit in your car. The terminal is not large.

jomoin Posted February 17, 2019 Author #15 Share Posted February 17, 2019 Okay, it is after 3:00 here at Baltimore, and no one has boarded the Pride yet. A terminal full of hangry people! Cabins will not be ready until 4:00. Not impressed with our first trip out of Baltimore!

Can't see now the port is responsible

SRF Posted February 17, 2019 #18 Share Posted February 17, 2019 I know that Pride has a much later arrival time than Grandeur. And if they arrived late, that pushes everything even further back.
