Carnival Stock On Board Credit

Can two unrelated people sailing in the same cabin qualify for the stock on board credit or is it issued only once per cabin?

I'm going to share my cabin with a friend & we both own 100 shares of Carnival stock and have never cruised together.

All the responses on Cruise Critic seem to indicate that it only issued once per cabin.

Any comments?

My understanding is: if the last names and addresses are different, both get the credit.

Best to call Princess and hope you get someone who knows the correct answer.

The Shareholder Benefit form at http://www.carnivalcorp.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=140690&p=irol-sharebenefit is very clear that "Only one onboard credit per shareholder-occupied stateroom."

However that same form also says that shareholder OBC "cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account" even though they have always allowed it to be used for gratuities.

There have been several reports of those with different last names have both gotten benefits. One can only try and hope it works. If not, at least one person will get it.

Thanks. I guess we'll just have to submit our forms and see what happens.

If they allow it we'll probably just spent it on clothes anyway.

I may be mixing up posters but.......

I thought you had asked this before for a prior cruise?

Were you able to get it last time?
