Carry on drinks

Does RCCL still allow you to carry on 12 pack of non alcoholic drinks (Pepsi) or water on embarkation day?

You can take on 12 sodas/water/juice that are no bigger than 16.9 oz per cabin.

I would carry these on yourself as if you put these in your checked bag it may result in a visit to the naughty room to retrieve your bags. This happened to a friend of ours when he had soda in his checked luggage for a Serenade OTS cruise..

Royal says those must be in the carry-on now.

If one does want to check in their soda or water. I would put it by itself in a bag that can be easily checked out without the owner being there. I have used a re-usable cloth shopping bag with the handles tied together with a square knot to bring on a 12 pack of bottled spring water. Simply attach a luggage tag and check it in with the porters.

Nope only in carry-on now.

Since November 2018, the rule has been that you must carry them on yourself.
