First ever upsell offer

Got our first upsell offer for a 7 day cruise on the Rotterdam.  We have an aft balcony and for $1999 per person we can upgrade to Pinnacle Suite.  We are 3 in a cabin so we never get upgrades.  We passed.  

 

It was fun to get!

It is nice to get the offers!  We rarely take them as always pick a cabin we are happy with.

You may get another offer.  We were offered an upgrade from NS to PS which we refused.  A week later we got another offer for half as much which we accepted.  Figured it was probably our only shot at a PS.  Enjoyable but probably not twice.

On my last cruise, upsell from NS to PS was offered three times - twice in the last week before sailing. I guess the PS category doesn't sell or people are waiting for an upsell offer.

The OP is on the Rotterdam, which as I recall has 4 Pinnacle suites (most HAL ships have one or two).

 

Most cruises I have been on the Pinnacle sells out rather early.
