The free platinum minutes are as they always were and are based on the length of the voyage, ie 150, 250. You get them once on board. The unlimited packages must be purchased. I did not see any upgrade offers during our last month on board. You pay the full price if you want one of them.

We found the speed satisfactory with the platinum minute package.
