Benefits of booking on board?

Hi! Taking first P&O cruise in September, but also interested in a March 2021 cruise.

 

What benefits might I reasonably expect if I book for 3/21 on my 9/19 cruise, please?

I booked the Canadian trip on board, received £50.00 pp OBC and reduced deposit of 5%.

 

Also P&O passed the booking through to my designated TA

Nowhere near as good as those Celebrity used to give, nor what you used to get from P&O.

I think the deposit is only £50pp which is useful if you need to cancel nearer the time plus some OBC but at the moment you will get 10% discount by booking the cruise before the end of April and the price might have risen by the time you are onboard(though there may be an extra OBC offer)

Only 5% booking normally at the moment!

 

Cunard gave us $415 OBC each for a 14 day Baltic cruise, and a price slightly better than Select when I booked on board.

Likely you will get a bit of OBC, £50/5% deposit, as the cruise on 3/21 will have been on sale a while it may also depend how well it is selling. Note the prices before you sail 9/19 and go to the future cruise desk onboard and see what is on offer, sometimes they have managers specials which have a bit more off.
