What to pack for the Anthem

I have been on tons of cruises with RC out of Florida but on Saturday my family and I will be leaving out of NJ on the Anthem.  Not sure what exactly to pack clothing wise.  

 

At what point in the cruise will I hit the warmer weather to bring out the shorts etc and at what point during the return is it going to be too cold to wear them?  It's going to be 70 on embarkation day and 59 on debarkation day.  

 

It seems like a lot of the ships activities for the family can be done indoors.  Do people just usually walk around in shorts and t shirts like a normal Caribbean cruise (beginning and end) or are we talking pants etc.?

The first and last days are usually cool.

 

Shorts are common in the enclosed areas of the ship.

Pack some light covers so you can enjoy sail away on deck. Kids will be oblivious to the temps.

Agree with Bob!  The first and last days are normally very chilly!

We leave on Grandeur this week. I packed a pair of jeans, a pair of leggings, some capris and some shorts. And I thru in a hoodie. Figured I’m covered as we go thru the multiple changes of temperatures.

Layers work best.  Lots to do in doors.  Also indoor pools, which can be enjoyed even the first day.
