RC releases Tuesday

A lot of you probably have this ,Royal Caribbean’s 2020-2021 cruise season.

I wonder when we find out about the private island there’s a lot for sale.

Cannot wait to hear what the big news is, I just hope it isn't like their sales. They get your hopes up and then dash them with higher prices than before the sale.

Yes not too sure on what the big news will be. Previously I thought it could not just be the 20-21 itinerary release & perhaps would be about the Radiance move to Brisvegas, and Serenade to Sydney, but that news has been already released.

 

Perhaps as Phillip suggests it may be news of the RC private island??

From experience prices will drop a month or two after release But if you want that premium suite such as the royal suite ,they sell quickly.

If someone wants those suites ,price wouldn’t matter.

Not sure there's anything more to it than the release of the cruises. As the byline says they're just calling them "adventures."

Here’s a interesting article I found about Royal Caribbean’s most profitable ships.

The most profitable ships in their class are the Australian ships.

Plus the fact that Aussies can’t get cruise cost reduced as prices decrease like in the US.

But cruise prices on sailings here aren't higher than elsewhere in the world. Alaska, Med are typically higher for a couple of examples.

That’s probably a big factor that keeps their revenue up in Australia and also the ships are at 100%.

It is quite easy to see that vacancy rates are quite low on most cruises here as not many cruises have the low last minute prices.

Looks a bit expensive to me ???

Unless you want the Royal suite I’d leave it for a bit.

A overnight it Hobart is a definite ,we will be doing that.

No. She is probably going there for a dry dock which is due in 2021. Sort of like the reverse of what radiance is doing.
