Why Can't RCCL Auto Link New Reservations

Yeah, I know the answer, RCCL IT is HORRIBLE.

 

But we booked two cruises on board last week.

 

Went into my account, they are not listed.  I had to manually link them.

 

WHY???????

 

They have my C&A number, they have the info.

 

Just venting.

The site definitely can be a bit flaky. Our next cruise, booked last year, for this fall, showed up on my account without my having to do anything. A few months later, when a conflict forced us to reschedule, I had both the original booking, and the new booking, listed for a few days. Both bookings were made by TA, but I doubt that had any impact on them showing up or not.

My upcoming cruise from a third party travel agency linked. We found a great deal on Symphony of the Seas for the 3/28-4/4 2020 Western cruise a few days ago. Did everything online and the cruise was linked as soon as I got off the phone.

Strange.

 

Booked on board.  Emailed my TA, she had them.

 

But today, once I logged in, neither was there.   No problem adding them, but no need for me to have to do that.

SRF, We booked onboard GR almost two weeks ago and it showed up automatically under my cruises.  I was surprised.  We always used to have to add them.

I had this issue on Tuesday. I manually linked my cruise on their website. I still had to call because my cruise wouldn't show up. I was told I hadn't confirmed my cruise. Cruise was free and I had paid my port fees & taxes plus the daily service charges over the phone. How much confirmation did they need?!?
