So I just did a min bid on IV--figure w/ lower #s sailing & that class has the most available, probably will get it. Loved our SV on Edge las summer but wanna try iV for ourselves. The Thermal Suite on the Apex is really nice and is a great way to spend a few hours relaxing each day. The spa pass alone for the week was $235 last week so you got a great deal. We prefer Concierge over Aquaclass, so no offer there. We love Celebrity Suites, so would be happy if they accepted. We submitted one for a Royal Suite, but probably won't be accepted.

When I called the agent said that with the moveup the old OBC was not part of current special but as goodwill the USD 100$ was applied to my account as part of my bid so I actually didn’t Lose anything. So I guess my bid was actually 460 CAD + 100 USD for the moveup, didn’t make a lot of sense but after 45 mins I had to get to bed. May call again tomorrow to inquire. Anyway we paid an outrageously low price with OBC for our inside so am happy irregardless as still getting a great deal. Yes/No: Yes If YES - Bidding Details: Cabin Category: AQ Bid Offer: $35pp (min) Notification Date: March 3, 2022 Accepted / Rejected: Accepted General Comments Bid was in USD. The minimum bid for Aqua Class was discounted. Seemed that it is usually $50/person, but was discounted to $35. I put in the bare minimum bid as I am sailing solo, so it would cost me double and I really liked my original 2C room location, as it was one of the Sweet Sixteen. I had tracked inventory and prior to my bid being accepted, over 50% of the AQ cabins were still available.
KN1234 Posted March 4, 2022 #397 Share Posted March 4, 2022 Ship: Equinox Length of Cruise: 12 days Cruise Sail Date: April 3, 2022 Date email offer received: February 3, 2022 Captain’s Club Tier : Classic Booked through Celebrity Direct OR via TA: Celebrity Current Cabin: Inside Bid? Yes/No: Yes If YES - Bidding Details: Cabin Category: AQ Bid Offer: $555 USD Notification Date: Accepted / Rejected: “Pending” Pretty sure it is no longer pending though and is accepted. I submitted bids on all categories available to me (no suites were offered given we are inside) except ocean view, with Concierge and Aqua both set to equal bid amounts, veranda at $305. All have been listed at pending/offer received depending on which webpage I was viewing the status on. Today all are expired except Aqua, and I cannot modify it any longer. Also, kind of crazy, but I just tried to view my reservation and it went from visible minutes ago to this page no longer exists lol, so they’re probably modifying the reservation as I type this now. Another thing to note…the minimum bid on Aqua class was originally around $500 I think, but it actually had increased to a minimum $700 bid. I left my original bid alone as I would have been happy for any of my bids to be accepted. The others’ minimums stayed the same, although the maximum bid increased from $500 veranda to $800 veranda, and concierge and Aqua increased from $800 to $1600 maximums. Family veranda increased as well I think, although the minimum was still quite low at $400 or so.
Rosemary54 Posted March 4, 2022 #398 Share Posted March 4, 2022 We are from the UK and have not ‘bid’ on previous Celebrity cruises. Not sure it even existed when we last sailed with them in 2017. Received an email today for an offer on our cruise for 16th May but the minimum of £295 pp for a standard balcony from an OV seems high. Do they come down in price nearer the time? TIA

TIA Might be worth checking with your travel agent, the prices have dropped in some cases recently, you might be able to upgrade without bidding, and often its cheaper to just ask and pay. We had a significant price drop today and took it as OBC. Good luck.
