Bellair Posted May 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2019 Out here in the deep Pacific (5400ft) it is as calm as a mill pond, making our way towards SAN Francisco from Auckland. some of the best sunsets we have experienced. enjoy the pics: Bora Bora-Moorea-Equator ceremony-Nuku Hiva-Rangiroa

ger_77 Posted May 5, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 5, 2019 Beautiful photos; did you get to use the zodiacs? When we were on the Maasdam in February, the Vietnamese government wouldn't allow use in their waters, so they stayed onboard. Smooth Sailing! 🙂🙂🙂
Bellair Posted May 5, 2019 Author #9 Share Posted May 5, 2019 ‘Wish you were here’ type of photos eh zodiacs only used twice.... once in Rarotonga & Rain soaked Vava’u ... Alofi Niue was cancelled due to their supply ship in for Easter. i think Tahitian islands would not allow them to compete with locals. the times used they were full. i will have a video of their operation on the completed edit soon ( youtube channel:bellairvideo)

bcummin Posted May 7, 2019 #13 Share Posted May 7, 2019 (edited) Since you are on board the Maasdam right now, Bellair, you might want to jump onto this bandwagon. Thanks, Barbara Edited May 7, 2019 by bcummin
KarefreeKaren Posted May 8, 2019 #14 Share Posted May 8, 2019 Thank you for sharing your incredible photos! I was cruising with you on this journey and loved every minute. Boarding the ship on February 15th, I was able to experience some fantastic zodiac adventures—unfortunately, the expert zodiac team disembarked prior to the Auckland leg. In Tonga, due to weather, etc...the zodiac was not a good experience. It’s my understanding they did not receive the approvals for zodiac operations in Alaska (as well as French Polynesian) which is too bad. Here is to incredible voyages on the Maasdam! Cheers!
