Lady Hudson Posted May 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2019 I am looking for a list of enrichment lectures for upcoming Cunard voyages. I used to be able to find the information online for all Cunard ships but can no longer find the information. Can anyone help? Thanks.
bluemarble Posted May 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2019 The lists of enrichment lecturers are no longer available on the new Cunard website. But links to the lists of lecturers can be found at the following location. https://book.princess.com/BookingSystem/goToUrl.do?srcURL=marketing/cu/promotional/insights/index.jsp I attached the latest set of individual pdf files from this location to a previous post on an earlier thread about this topic. Here are the direct links to those file attachments. MrsNorman Posted May 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2019 Thank you so much for posting this, and now I know who is going to be speaking during our cruise from June 16th on Queen Victoria. Brilliant. Is there any way of finding out who they are having to entertain us - any guest performers?
Host Hattie Posted May 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2019 They are not usually published in advance.
TheOldBear Posted May 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2019 I see Stephen Payne is listed for the Southampton to Hamburg segment - I should bring my Haynes workshop manual & get it autographed 😉

Stephen Payne is very interesting. I met him during a crossing and asked him to autograph one of his books. Last week, during a crossing on the QM2, I asked Ted Scull to autograph a book for me. Reuben's 3rd Posted May 14, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 14, 2019 Blue Marble, once again thanks! Your "bookprincess.com" link works for me, and it actually listed 4 of the 5 speakers on our Apr 28 to May 5 crossing (It missed Dr Robert Thirsk, in my opinion, the best of a very strong field). What a relief after Cunard, with a significant degree of irritation, had insisted to me that we would only have 2 speakers for our 7 day crossing! By the way, Cunard now assures me that they are still working on their website!

bluemarble Posted May 30, 2019 #11 Share Posted May 30, 2019 I see there have been some recent updates to the guest speaker lists posted on the Cunard websites. But I suppose it will come as no great surprise that they've managed to mess up which document goes with which ship on the US website. At the moment on the US website, the link for Queen Mary 2 retrieves the speaker list for Queen Elizabeth and vice versa. Looks like the links are correct on the UK website though. At least they appear to be updating the lists with some regularity which is a good thing.
