We are booked for the Triple Denali Land & Sea tour this summer.  Just wondering if anyone knows which hotel HAL uses in Denali?  We're trying to make plans and it would be very helpful to know where we will be staying.  Thanks!

They own the Westmark, Mckinley Chalet Resort. It is where you will be on a HAL Cruise/Tour.  You will be given the choice to upgrade to a Jr. Suite, otherwise you will be given assignment on theway to Denali.   https://www.westmarkhotels.com/destinations/denali-hotel/

I too am on a triple Denali cruise this summer.  Here is a link to my photo review of the McKinley Chalet Resort on my triple Denali cruise in 2017 to give you an idea or what you will experience:

And according to the not one but two emails I've received in the last month or so for our upcoming triple Denali in late July, it's $99 p/p per night to upgrade to a Jr. Suite.

Correct.  I can think of other ways I would rather spend the $600 it would cost us!

For a room that we would only sleep in for about 8 hours that is just ridiculous amount per night.

For the 3 of us it was ~$900.  We decided to spend it  on excursions (or at the Casino once onboard).  👨‍👨‍👧

Curious thing when I checked the Hotel's website for actual room pricing, I could not find any mention of a Junior Suite option for rooms. The booking process only shows one price for a King or Double room. I know that the hotel opened up the new junior suites building this year but I could not find them priced out separately. Sounds like another HAL chance to get extra money from all of us by upgrading.
