When you get on-board, check your account. If it shows OBN beside it then it is non refundable...if it shows OBR then it is refundable. We just got off the Solstice and had $300 OBN which we used and $50 OBR from the TA which was refunded back to our credit card.

If OBN and you don't want to just spend foolishly, just draw 300 of the gaming table with a 5% charge. They will give you 300 in chips and charge your acct 315. Walk to cage and cash in the chips.

They no longer do this.  You are given promotional chips that can only be used to gamble.  Non refundable OBC can be used for extra tips, onboard purchases, shore excursions...anything except putting a deposit on a future cruise.

Wrong....just of 29 sailing on Solstice doing b2b...on both legs I got real chips which I cashed in. They use to do promotional chips.

Are you saying they no longer use promotional chips when you are using OBC to gamble?  It was promotional chips in March.

Note I said to draw from table....not the cage. At cage they want to give you promotional  chips...….always get at tables as they have NO promotional chips on the table to offer.
