Suites get a different menu.  I do not recall paying for anything- we didn't order alcohol

Suites are not charged for room service.  Suites can also order off the MDR menu (when the MDR is open) for delivery to their suites.

The room service menu looks quite varied.  We have had some bad room service experiences on another cruise line.  Does Royal do a good job of delivering hot items still hot and fresh?  Nothing worse than cold eggs or fries.

It depends....if they're really busy, you might get less than "piping hot" food....no way to tell, really.
