Aft cabins and Yacht Club.

We are looking at cruises for 2021 and I know it is a long time away but we like to plan early . For us the itinerary is always what we look for first and then we will choose the ship. We have mainly cruised  on Celebrity and Azamara but are considering trying a new experience on another cruise line. MSC is one we have looked at particularly the Yacht Club and like Aft Cabins and we hope that is possible with ships like Bellissima.

To my knowledge, all YC cabins (in all ships that have a YC) are all the way forward and on the upper decks. I agree that aft cabins are great, wonderful views, no traffic outside your door, to name a couple, but not on MSC's YC. However, it is a great trade off.

If you’re looking for a YC experience in an aft suite, check out the Haven on Norwegian. They have two room aft suites with huge balconies on all of the “away” class ships. You have access to all the Haven amenities in the front of the ship like private dining room, lounge and sun deck, you just have a bit of a hike to get there.

So what are the best Yacht Club Cabins in your opinion

We have been on MSC Seaside deck 16 starboard and MSC Bellissima deck 15 starboard. Both cabins were convenient located, we don’t mind walking one or two floors up to Top Sail Lounge or YC Restaurant.

We’ve done that. The balconies in aft Haven are huge!  We found sub-par butler service though as so remote. We were just looking for ordinary things like ice and couldn’t get it. Room service would t deliver (“that is your Butler’s job”). We ended up taking our bucket to various bars and begging for ice.
