Lobster in MDR?

On the Getaway the last week of July, in Ocean Blue you could order either a whole 1 1/2 lb lobster or 2 lobster tails as an entree.  On the same cruise in Cagneys, the Surf and Turf came with a 6 oz lobster tail.   The week prior however, Cagneys Surf and Turf came with shrimp.

Complimentary lobster in MDR gone years ago. Shrimp offerings greatly reduced as well. Just so the bigwigs at NCL can report to  their stockholders bigger profits..

I wonder if NCL would be successful if they offered Lobster in the MDR for an added fee..ala Carnival ?

Unfortunately, they do not have the lobster pie at Ocean Blue any more.

They do serve a surf and turf

And the great thing is they did away with the additional upcharge for this 😜

OMG....that is even better.  We were disappointed with the Lobster Pot Pie, just a few chunks of lobster and very salty too!  Surf and Turf with a lobster tail as in your pic is fabulous and to me would qualify as "lobster" the way we want it!

We will be on the Joy first part of December.  I hope steak and lobster is still available at Ocean Blue then.  I think there is at least a 90 percent chance it will be replaced with something else that will save NCL a few dollars.

Carnival has free lobster in the dining room, actually nearly every cruise line does just not NCL.

I have sailed Carnival many times. I was referring to their nightly Steakhouse selections offered for an additional fee in the MDR.. I think similar choices in NCL's MDR would be well received.
