Pre-book My time dining?

It's been a few years since I sailed with HAL.  Recently on my RCL cruises, I chose My Time Dining, and then a couple months in advance, go into my reservation and book some dining times.  I realize that I don't need to do this, but I never have to wait when I show up at my desired time. 

Anyways, I was wondering if HAL Koningsdam offered this option as well?  I haven't been able to find anything, so maybe I just need to show up and wait my turn?

HAL's "Any Time" dining option allows you to make dining reservations the day you plan to eat. You may also be able to book one day ahead but I can't swear to it. I'm sure there will be 20 or so more authoritative replies.

On HAL, if you have Open Seating, you can reserve seating during the non peak times, up to 3 days ahead at a time. The peak times are usually 6 to 7pm, give or take. You can't book before you get on board.

On the Amsterdam to Alaska, the first night we dined early and chose a table for three.  We were allowed to "book" it for the entire trip.  We didn't even have to check in at the desk each evening but simply went to our table.  It was great.  Earlier on the Westerdam, they only booked three days ahead as shown above.

Once you get on the ship, talk to the maitre'd and ask what hours you are allowed to make reservations in the Open Seating option.  Most ships allow you to make the reservations between 5:15 - 6:15 and 7:30 - 9 for any size table you want.

Thanks all for your suggestions!   I can now quit looking on the website for open dining reservations and wait until I am on the ship.
