Is their a door forward on the Caribe deck that takes you to an outside area where you can view the locks as you go through?

You are one deck too high.  Promenade deck, (deck 7), all around both sides and stern then up to Emerald deck, (deck 8), for around the bow.

One deck off. It's Promenade deck and then up the steps to Emerald.

No door on Caribe deck to the outside. There may be access forward on deck 15 to area over the bridge.

Good viewing areas on all the upper decks.
