Does Pokemon Go work on either of Celebrity's Wifi Packages?

Yes, you can make Pokemon Go work with the ship's wifi during a cruise--based on our last three cruises (South America, Australia, and Caribbean).  However the wifi signal is not the problem, the obstacle that you will run into sometimes is being able to get a good GPS signal which is independent of the ship's wifi.  If you can't get a GPS signal, the game will load on your phone, you will get the "GPS signal not found" red error banner, and your game really won't do anything while at sea.  So you just have to make sure you are out on your balcony, up on deck, or near a window (e.g. forward observation lounge).

A couple of game hints:

1. obviously you won't find any Pokemon in the wild when you are at sea, but if you use Incense, you will find Pokemon spawning in the ocean every minute or two (it is funny to see that on your phone).  That should help you keep your daily catch streak alive.

2. on sea days when the ship is cruising relatively slowly, you will get a lot of "walking distance" credit towards hatching eggs.  So make sure your friends send you lots of gifts so you can incubate eggs on sea days.

3. most of the time when you are out at sea, any Pokemon you catch will not have a location name indicating where you caught it.  However, the Pokemon will still be geotagged so if you do a trade, you will get the proper distance credit.

Unlimited although we haven't been on a cruise where the newly introduced Surf Internet Package was offered.  Back then your choices were with buying wifi time, not speed quality.

That may depend on the port. But of course if you get off the ship, you’ll find them.

We just returned from a Solstice cruise around New Zealand and we found Relicanth at each port.
