luvsun22 Posted September 25, 2019 #76 Share Posted September 25, 2019 Loving your report! We’re on the Connie in late October, Barcelona to Venice. It’s very interesting how many different itineraries she has. I’m even more excited for Barcelona after seeing your pictures!

I learned today that it was the first and last time she’ll stop and Gibraltar

We have been on all 4 of the M-class ships but only 3 prior times on the Constellation. In contrast we have been on the Infinity 12 times. I actually liked the Constellation better when it had the "doughnut hole" which was removed in the 2010 drydock in Hamburg. But as long as we are on a ship we are happy campers. Continue to enjoy your time on board.

Our first time in a suite. We're in 8121 or maybe 8125. Its an accessible suite.
hun Posted September 26, 2019 #80 Share Posted September 26, 2019 (edited) Thanks for your report and for posting! We’ll be on the Constellation leaving October 20 from Rome to Barcelona, with some of the same stops! We are sorry we’re missing Alejandro (were with him on a previous Summit Bermuda cruise) but glad to hear Miguel is good! How have you been enjoying the evening entertainment? Have a wonderful cruise! Edited September 26, 2019 by hun

What do you feel are the major differences between and S class ship and this class (is this M class?) My first Celebrity cruises were on the S Class ships, which I fell in love with immediately. I now always use the expression that "I feel like I'm home as soon as I board an S class ship". So prior to my cruise on the Constellation (my one and only time on an M class ship), I was worried I wouldn't get that feeling because it was an older and smaller ship. In my opinion, one of the biggest differences is the setup of Ocean View cafe. On the S Class ships, it is an open concept, easily accessible design. I'm not a fan of the line style cafeteria, so I was very worried about the M class. I was still very happy with the set-up of the Ocean View cafe on the Constellation. Having been on both now, I still prefer the S-class, but I will certainly not hesitate to cruise on the M class again, and I can appreciate the positive feelings that so many people have about the M class. trishtoro Posted September 26, 2019 Author #89 Share Posted September 26, 2019 Written September 26 Again I couldn’t copy and paste from FB but at least the images of the trip report are in order. The photos themselves are reverse of how I wanted them but they are there. To explain some of my comments about exertion and pain etc, I have Multiple Sclerosis. My husband has not found the tours to be too much for him. I am 46, he is 49. In Barcelona we walked around 6 miles for example. 237747CC-A2E9-4AFD-8DC9-3F5638AE9F40.MOV
