Luggage delivery was fast

In our DV2 room by 2pm.  Luggage delivery by 3.15pm.  Much quicker than expected.

Zitsky.  You know you can open one thread to post all your comments instead of a new thread for each comment.  When people do it that way, they call it Live from the Viking (name of ship, beginning date of your cruise and name of cruise location).  Then you just go to that thread, post your comments and people can ask you questions if they wish.

A "Live" thread really isn't your thread, as you will soon find out, so you don't need to worry about seeming indulgent. Live threads are really just an open conversation about a particular itinerary. If you are lucky, other members of your roll call will join in and a lot of information about the itinerary will be shared along with questions being answered.

 

Fellow CCers just want a chance to pick your brain and it is just easier to deal with when the entire conversation is in one thread.

Agreed!   We all like to hear from fellow cruisers for their thoughts, ideas, tips, what to watch for, ideas, and more!

If possible, post photos of the dailies---folks are always interested in that.

Photos of the wine list (if you have SSBP) are frequently requested.

But as others have said---info on shore excursions is always helpful!

And if it is titled with the name of your cruise it will pop up when people search that cruise--that is extremely useful.

 

Enjoy! Explore every dining venue--sounds like WC was not for you. There are lots of other places to eat plus room service.

Two cruises with Viking, v cabin and luggage is always in the room when it becomes available.  That would be 3;00 but we arrived a little earlier.  When did you arrive at port?  We had 4 hour lag time as we were there between 11:00 and 11:30.  When you don't have so many passengers, the wait is shorter
