Non-refundable rate = Penalty for price drops?

If I book the non-refundable rate, I won't be able to get any discounts without penalty if there are price drops, correct?  I'm looking at Symphony in April 2021, so quite a ways away.  If I want to rebook if Kids Sail Free comes along, I should pony up the extra few hundred bucks for the refundable rate?

Does not matter if it's refundable/not.  You can apply for lower rates if applicable as many times as you are able.

Oh okay! I thought when you did a price drop adjustment it was the same as cancelling and then rebooking.

As long as you're booking under North American rates you can take advantage of any price drops up until the designated Final Payment Date.

You never "cancel" to do this you have a "price adjustment" done...Very easy to do as long as it's before final payment date.
