Wine corking fee

 Then perhaps bottles purchased through the Fun Shops as a gift are not considered to be bottles purchased on board.  I was charged even with proof of the bottle having been purchased from the Fun Shops.

We are leaving on Sunday on the Legend. Other cruise lines allow you to bring more than the 2 bottles of wine and they automatically charge you the corkage fee for any additional bottles of wine.  Does Carnival allow this or is it strictly one bottle per person?

No, officially it is one bottle per person.
