What are the mini golf balls made of?

I was on the Sunrise last week and went up to play mini golf a few times and noticed the balls felt like foam. I have heard some lines use fish food golf balls for driving off the back but not sure if Carnival was one. Does anyone know?

I have not seen driving golf balls off the stern in many, many years, Back then they were regular golf balls.

Every time we've played mini golf on Carnival they had just plain, ordinary, mundane golf balls.

The balls on the Sunshine back in September felt much lighter as well, they were not regular golf balls like in the past.

To me, they feel like any other golf balls at any other mini golf place.  So I'm going to say no, not fish food.

We've never played mini golf on any cruise, so it might be something fun to do on a sea day on our upcoming  cruise.

They do seem much lighter than regular golf balls.  It is pretty windy up on the sports deck and they are so light they blow around a little too easily to keep them in one spot at times.  It would really surprise me if they were edible to fish.
