Carnival Shuttle Ft Lauderdale

Hi all! Never used the Carnival shuttle from the airport to port and then back to airport.  Can anyone tell me where the shuttle is once we get luggage at baggage claim? This is at the Ft Lauderdale airport.

There will be signs at the baggage claim area and Carnival Staff there as well. This is ONLY to Miami. Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale) is a very short 5-10 minute drive to the pier. A ride service or taxi will get you there better no bus needed.

 

After collecting luggage, guests should proceed to one of the below listed meeting points. Once there a representative will escort the guests to the pier transportation. Transfers service will be provided by Academy Bus. Should guests have questions regarding transfer service, the transfer provider can be reached at the following contact number ON THE DAY OF SAILING ONLY: 305-688-7700.
•Terminals #1 & 3: – Near baggage claim #3
•Terminals #2 & 4: – Near baggage claim #1

Guests who arrive prior to your sail date, must return to the airport on the day of sailing no later than 12:00 PM and meet with our staff at Terminal #2 near baggage claim #1.

Guests who purchase their own air are required to provide flight information via Online Check-In when purchasing transfers. Changes to flight details are the responsibility of the guest and must be re-entered into Online Check-In no later than 2 days prior to their cruise. Carnival is not responsible to provide transfers for guests who schedule flights outside of the service times or provide incorrect flight information.

Conditions and Restrictions:
The vehicle operator is an independent contractor. Carnival assumes no liability for losses, damages or injuries in connection with the use of the operator. Carnival reserves the right to discontinue transfer service at any time. Prices and acceptable flight times are subject to change without notice.

Thanks, the transfer shuttle has already been purchased so its a go.. What does this mean? This is ONLY to Miami.  Is there not a shuttle to the port in Ft Lauderdale from the ft Lauderdale airport?

It's a very cheap Uber/Lyft ride from FLL to the port as it's very close.  Absolutely no need to pay for the Carnival shuttle.  Sorry you didn't ask before spending that extra money.  As a prepurchase, can't it be cancelled?

Unless you are coming in on a flight that gets you in close to cutoff, I would cancel the transfer and take a taxi.

thats a lot of money for a 15-20 min ride.      Unless the agent gave it to you for free for your business.   THis can be cancelled

As already stated, you are wasting money you have paid for the transfer.   It is cheaper to Uber/taxi in FLL.

I am going to echo what everyone else said. Cancel the expensive Carnival transfer, and grab an Uber or Lyft. It's much cheaper, and quicker.

There will be either a sign or a person holding a sign to tell you where to go.  (You can take the Carnival shuttle if you want to ).
