Is there any difference between the Vista Suites on deck 10 of Riviera and those on decks 11 or 12?

Yes.  As is shown in the deckplans the interior sizes of the Suites vary by deck and the size of the various verandas

vary very substantially.

I'm sure this is known by most but are Riviera and Marina identical?

Pretty much!  Some slight differences (that I couldn't discern) occurred between Marina's launch and Riviera's.  But just as they are pretty much identical, so are the "R" ships which were built much earlier.

In terms of interior square footage, the ones on deck 12 are the largest.  The biggest balconies are on deck 9.  We’ve been in 8002, 9001 and next month we will be in 12000.  In rough seas, the noise is the loudest on deck 8 when the waves smash against the hull.

+1

Primarily because the Vista Suites are situated where the pointed bow of the ship has expanded into the full width of the Hull
