Dressing Gowns

Just read a review where someone was on a short break on QM2 and there were no dressing gowns.  Are there gowns on a TA?

Yes, and we had dressing gowns on the short cruise just finished ( but we were in QG on this sailing).

Thank you Hattie.  We are not in Grills (unfortunately) but Britannia, likewise the short cruise review.

My experience is that if they aren’t in the wardrobe, if you mention it to the stateroom steward then they will gladly get them for you.

Quite right, you only need to request and your steward will provide one. These short two day trips are always a bit hit & miss (Britannia category)  with the Towelling Robes, often they not back from the laundry in time for the first embarkation evening.   Then usually on request just for one other day only.

We have just returned from a Roundtrip TA in an inside cabin on deck 5 and we had dressing gowns. They werent there on our embarkation but they were left the next day on our bed and we placed them on the back of the door in the en-suite. Not sure if they automatically provide them on short cruises or if you have to ask for them and even then if you get one.

I'm on board QM2's current westbound crossing in a Britannia balcony cabin. I have been provided both a bathrobe and slippers.
