We are sailing on the Seaside tomorrow and our TA gave us a $200 OBC for each cabin. We normally cruise celebrity and wwe can pullup our account on the TV in our stateroom and see the OBC deposit and watch the charges against it as the week goes on. Does MSC do something similar?

Better. They have beautiful app MSC for Me and you can see all you may need on your phone . TA OBC usually will show on next day of cruise

One OBC issue with MSC is that most (if not all) of the OBC's are designated as "non-refundable."  What this means is that you spend it or lose it.  On our last two MSC cruises we have had a substantial amount of OBC because we book through a very generous cruise agency.  Since we were in the YC and do not book  cruise line excursions this created a minor problem.  What to do with the OBC.  Last year DW saw some jewelry she liked so we used a good portion of our OBC for that item.  But on this last cruise (just off the ship on Tuesday) there was nothing in the shops that interested DW.  So I found myself at the Black Jack table (on two nights) using our OBC to get Chips.  Last year when I did the same....I actually doubled my money :).  This year we managed to donate about $100 to the "casino fund" but still walked out with a nice amount of cash.

Speaking of the Casino we did have some fun playing with a lady who was a real "high roller."  She would bet the $300 maximum on every hand of Black Jack and had no hesitation in doubling when appropriate.  In less than an hour we watched that lady lose over $5000......get more chips....and eventually win back her loses plus at least another $15,000.  That kind of gambling is out of my league but it was fun playing at the same table.  I joked with her that she was the only person I saw who got paid to cruise which she admitted was somewhat true.  Like many big gamblers it is unlikely she ever pays for her cruise (or a hotel room in any casino resort).

Stick card in slot machine; load amount of funds you want (the OBC you want to cash out) against the card.  Print voucher and take to cashier.

You could not get me to put anything in a slot machine at any price...even if it is free :).  When it comes to Casinos I only play Blackjack or Craps.  And on MSC another reason to steer far away from the slot section is all the darn smoke!

I was there for about 15 seconds.  Didn't play; just got my OBC and cashed out.  No percentage penalty either. Good solution for those who are not planning any table play or gambling.
