rhinomike Posted December 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2019 When we arrive in Cabo on the Panorama we have to shuttle in..... the fun times states that we need a ticket. We are Platinum but haven’t had to Shuttle in a long time. Do we need a ticket? We are supposed to be priority with Platinum status. How does that work? We have to get off fast as they pushed our dock time out by an hour and now we will be late for our private tour. Thank you.
Cruise-Crazy Posted December 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted December 29, 2019 Diamond/Platinum are supposed to have priority. I have never tried that, I don’t feel right cutting the line of other passengers. Also, if it is a private tour they are not to be too concerned about that. pinto18 Posted December 29, 2019 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2019 Usually they have you meet somewhere like guest services and they escort you there ( just try to ignore the people in line glaring at you)
Elaine5715 Posted December 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2019 There will be instructions on how those with priority status can use this perk. It does stop when there is no lines. Usually a meeting spot is designated and a crew member will lead the group down and you join the line on Zero deck (they don't walk you straight to the shuttle).
Rare finoky Posted December 29, 2019 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2019 Our last experience was to meet in the Red Frog Pub at a prearranged time. We were then escorted by a Carnival representative down to the tender as a group.
eddieswife Posted December 30, 2019 #6 Share Posted December 30, 2019 Whenever we had to tender we got to go to a special line at guest services and taken to the front of the line.

Cutting in line of other passengers for the water shuttle is no different than the P/D/FTTF line at Guest Services. It's a privilege that you have earned (or bought if FTTF). It's kind of like a Fast Pass at Disney.
outdoors27 Posted December 30, 2019 #8 Share Posted December 30, 2019 Yes, Diamond and Platinum get priority tendering. As someone already mentioned you will meet at a designated located and be escorted ahead of the lines. Honestly, who cares about the glares from others. You earned you Diamond or Platinum status with Carnival and deserve the few perks offered. If they want similar perks they can book a few more cruises.
eddieswife Posted January 12, 2020 #9 Share Posted January 12, 2020 We are platinum and when we were at half moon cay about 6 years ago they told us to go to the guest services desk and they took us down in a service elevator I believe and we boarded the tender without having to wait in line. We haven’t had to tender the last few cruises but I hope we can do this again when we go next month!

pinto18 Posted January 13, 2020 #14 Share Posted January 13, 2020 I believe FTTF works the same way as Platinum/Diamond. You should get something in your cabin the day before explaining where to meet for priority tenders
mikenbon Posted January 13, 2020 #15 Share Posted January 13, 2020 With FTTF, a notice is left in the staterooms regarding where to meet for priority water shuttles. I think It's the same for Platinum and Diamond guests.
