GTY balcony booked - when will cabin number be assigned?

We have a GTY balcony booked for Feb 24 2020 sailing on Mariner to Coco Cay and Nassau.  Received our cruise docs an the the luggage tag included still has no deck # or cabin # assigned.  When will we know our cabin and how will luggage get to our cabin without a deck or cabin # printed on it?  This is the first time we have ever cruised with a GTY cabin in the past we have always picked our cabin up front.  Any insight is appreciated.

Could be anytime from now until you show up at the pier.  Porters will have a manifest with all room numbers and names in case you get a late assignment.

If you have an iPhone put the SetSail pass into your wallet and look for digits after your booking number under the barcode - that could be your cabin.

we are on symphony 2/8 and got our cabin number yesterday....about 30 days out

On Anthem last October we were assigned Monday before a Saturday sailing.

I used the iPhone suggestion and it worked - it will be interesting to see when we get an official notification

No set pattern any one ship or sailing to the next. Can be months out, weeks, or at Pier

On Anthem in June, I received my assignment on Monday night for a Thursday sailing. 😮
