New to Regent - Specialty. Dining

You will be able to book one reservation in each specialty restaurant online prior to your cruise. Once you are on the cruise, there is a reservation desk where you can book further reservations. The times you wish to dine and your willingness to share a table will have an affect on your ability to get additional reservations. On a 14 night cruise, you should be able to get additional reservations.

Just an additional comment,,,you are also able to eat lunch in 1 of the specialty rest. almost every day.

All ex. Pacific Rim for some reason.

So even if you only get 3 res. you are able to enjoy them many times thru cruise.

A hint,,if you want a table for 2 in Sette Mara,,,get there before 7,as those fill fast and area small,,,,only the right hand side of LaVeranda.

On a. 14 day cruise we get 3 nights in specialty restaurants?   On Explorer, so one reservation in each?

Don't obsess over this; Compass Rose is a sensational venue with a terrific range of options. As mentioned above lunches in Prime 7 and Chartreuse on Explorer are unbelievably fun.

Not obsessing.  Just asking a question.

So the specialty restaurants are open for lunch on Explorer? This is definitely different than Voyager or Mariner. Will Splendor be the same as Explorer?

We expect so, BUT follow our joint blog (soon Mr. Rumor will "set the table") where we will try to answer Spendor-related questions..

As I recall, all the speciality restraints are open for lunch on sea days only. When in port, only one if the three is open and rotate which is open.

Never Pacific Rim. I think the reason is that PR is on deck 5, while the other two are on 10.  Thus, the galley that supplies Chartreuse and Prime 7 are in full roll for lunch, while Prime is 5 decks away and thus either served by its own galley or the Compass Rose galley below it, which is not geared up for lunch.
