BaBa2 Posted February 15, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2020 Does anyone on here know what type of foods they serve in the dining rooms on NCL, mainly Joy? We are going on the Joy in June to Alaska and I am unable to locate any menus. We are "plain Jane" eaters and just want to make sure we can either get shellfish or beef in the dining rooms. Last time we were on NCL, we were not impressed with choices but hoping for better results this trip. Can anybody help? TIA
tallnthensome Posted February 15, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2020 Generally the menus aboard are the same fleet and cruise destination doesn't dictate the menu.
smplybcause Posted February 16, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2020 Agree. Similar to menus I've seen on other ships.

Weluv2cruise2gether Posted February 16, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2020 We were on the Joy to Alaska in July 2019. The MDRs have the same offerings as the rest of the fleet. This includes, on the lower left hand side of menu, a chicken dish, fish dish, steak dish and pasta dish that stays the same every night. The dishes on the right side, as well as the appetizers, change every night. Enjoy your cruise to Alaska, we had an amazing time!
FranknBeans Posted February 16, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 16, 2020 All ship menus are the same and are put together by head office except for Hawaii ships due to the import of local goods which was part of the agreement made by NCL and Hawaiian officials in order to have a USA flagged ship placed there.
