Missing Next Cruise OBC

Hello,

I am asking for future booking.

I booked my cruise from Next Cruise on the ship last year, but didn't get my $50 OBC. The agent is telling me that it's gone because I booked a new cruise with lower fare, but Next Cruise told me that I can change my reservation in 2 months. Shouldn't I keep the OBC if I changed less than 2 months of the original booking from Next Cruise?

 

Also, is Next Cruise OBC stack-able with stakeholder benefit and AMEX Platinum cruise OBC?

ANY rebooking you receive whatever the rebooking offers. Even if it is the same ship same cruise. What you had does not transfer to your new booking.

If that's what they told you I'd say call again and if the first line person can't help you, ask for a supervisor.

If it is not in writing. You have no recourse.

No, the OP is asking about the OBC that you get for booking on board.  That stays with the reservation regardless of how many times the booking gets repriced.  If it were promotional OBC that they happened to get in addition to the next cruise OBC then yes that would be lost.

They used to give you $50 OBC if you booked non refundable 6 months in advance.  That program was cancelled a while ago.  Could that have been the OBC that you lost when you changed your bookling?

I called Royal Caribbean and they applied Onboard Credit for Next Cruise. I guess I need to find a better travel agent then costco 😛

Grateful for the advice given to us when our OBC's were removed after calling for price drops.

We called our TA back, who called RCCL, and all our OBC's were given back.
