So, the Cavern Club opens it's doors 45 minutes before the Beatles show. How early have people been lining up to get in, as it only seats 70?

I you want a good seat get there before the doors opened the one night we got there about 30 minutes before we only got a seat because someone decided not to wait.

When we were on the Epic a few years ago you could get into the cavern club way before 30 min before the show. I would say if you want a seat to get there at least 1 hour before the show. Really!!!!! We loved it!!!!

All the posts above said that the doors open about 45 minutes before show time. And you need to be in line more than 30 minutes before the doors open. So, if you show up 75 min early, you may not get a seat.

If you arrive late and walk in it may look full with people standing to watch the show. But i have found a seat by walking around the side of the club all around to the other side where their were seats by the far corner. Also the bar in the back has stools you can sit on..

Last week on the Bliss they didn't allow people in to stand. There was a "bouncer" at the closed door turning people away. We asked about standing by the bar; he said no. When the seats are full, that's it.

This past week on Bliss, 2/16 - 23, we walked in around 30 minutes before the show and was able to get a row of 8 without a problem.  But after that it did fill up fast.

They were allowing people to stand on our cruise.  We also walked in 15 minutes late to one of the shows and stood without any issues

Maybe they learned a valuable lesson. There were a lot of pissed off people on the 2/2 cruise.
