notalandlover Posted March 3, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2020 (edited) https://finance.yahoo.com/news/cruise-lines-relax-cancellation-policies-201542859.html I wonder if CCL and RCL will do something as well? ronandannette Posted March 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2020 This may be a stupid question but I can't find a definitive answer on Princess' website. If Princess cancels a sailing, or if travel bans prevent people from crossing borders, will they refund cruise fares?

Why don't you consider calling them and ask?☺️
Aplmac Posted March 5, 2020 #4 Share Posted March 5, 2020 Ah boy! Just when you need them, they're not there for ya! Two major Canadian travel insurance providers will no longer cover new customers who need to cancel their trips...... https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/coronavirus-manulife-tugo-travel-insurance-1.5486117?fbclid=IwAR2Cf8xY8CR10hN6cKeHwCsGOtmYyuzQsIOEN08t82eUZwBUuus5uliWFXI
bbwex Posted March 6, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2020 Viking came out with a message today that some cruises to Alaska will allow postponement of your cruise for a year and this can be done up to 24 hours before departure. So far it seems to apply only to some Alaska cruises, but those are coming up quickly.

Twenty-four hour notice was the same.
